The moments of March

Dr. Seuss books bring out the silliness in all of us. We read his books all month long. Ms Micki created a The Cat in the Hat and we played pin the hat on the cat. The giggles were so loud when Ms Jen tried to do it!

Science could be found as we explored how water moves through plants and trees.

We can't forget that sneaky leprechaun... we built and built a trap and he still snuck in. Tiny green footprints lined the halls, walls and trap. We will try again next year!

We were hoping to start exploring how April showers brings May flowers, but now have the twist of April snow... what do you know???? It is perfect for us to investigate how clouds and rain form through experiments.

As we watch spring start to emerge our indoor garden should too! Other spring signs will be hearing the peepers and learning about the life cycle of a frog. Hopefully, as it warms up we will find butterflies too.

Reminders - send in snow pants for a couple more days!

  • As spring is coming, please make sure that your child has clothing layers. The mornings start off a little chilly, but by the afternoon it is warmer. Weather permitting, we will be going outside each morning.
  • Mud season is upon us. Our playground can be muddy. Please make sure your child has boots/shoes that can get muddy.
  • Children should have at least one full change of clothes. This can be for anything from falling in the mud to having an accident. We want your child to be comfortable and we don't always have extra clothes.
  • Please check the lost and found. It is located under the payment box.
