Finalizing READ Plans-DRAFT vs. ACTIVE
Plans will not show as active until they are finalized:
- Teachers will now have to finalize all plans after parent conferences have been documented in the plan.
- If you are not done revising the plan, please SAVE but don't finalize until you are done entering any information into the plan. This creates a draft of the plan.
- If a plan was already finalized and you only need to add parent communication, you can add it as a comment.
- Any additional problems with finalizing, please contact Kim Patten for support.
PALS and Enrich Saving Issues
If you are experiencing issues saving work in Enrich or PALS, please view these help sheets to make sure it is working more efficiently.
Entering Outcomes for a READ Plan:
When a plan needs to be revised or updated before finalizing and activating the plan, you will have to choose one of the options below:
- Choose this option if you are revising a goal or updating the progress monitoring in the READ Plan.
- Please check IC or with the school clerk to make sure the student is NOT enrolled in an APS school.
- Student recently reached grade level proficiency, but the teacher needs to continue to monitor closely with MTSS support.
Exit Read Plan-Student is Proficient
- With collaborative support from the MTSS team and the family, the student has demonstrated a body of evidence and a decision has been made to exit the READ Plan. Please see link below if you have questions about when to exit a student from a READ Plan. Exiting a READ Plan
Assigning a TEAM Lead and Team Members
After you've finalized your READ Plan please make sure a TEAM LEAD is assigned.
- Teachers should identify themselves as the TEAM Lead
- The teacher should also add the Teaching Partner as a team member. The ELA TL should also be added if the student is an ELL
- At the beginning of next year, the new teacher should open all their plans and add themselves as the team lead. Help Sheet for Adding a Team Lead
State Reporting: Data Entry Deadlines
Reminder that May 8th is the deadline for all teachers to enter data into Enrich on ALL students K-5.
K-3: Enter a DRA-2 level
4th Grade: Students on a READ Plan-enter a DRA-2 level, for all others-enter either DRA-2 or BAS level.
5th Grade: Enter DRA-2 level or BAS level.
(Please consult the Key Assessment Chart dated 9/15/2014 for specific details on all assessment requirements).
IF your school has an alternative calendar and you have questions about the deadline date, please contact Kim Patten.
Batch Printing of Plans
Enrich has a new feature where users will be able to batch print plans, progress monitoring and meeting notices (if generated in Enrich). Please note this feature only works for currently active plans. If you are needing to print a draft document, or historical documents on a specific student, you will need to go into the individual student record.
