It's a Personal Thing...

Learning gets personal at RTMS - Dec. 9, 2015

Where are we now?

This year has been marked by many changes, and all of you have been troupers! We are on the leading edge of revolutionary change in education, and being on the front lines can be exciting, but also scary. I'm very proud of the willingness you have to try new things. You are dedicated, hard working teachers, who make a difference everyday. What you put into your classes makes a huge difference. As we reflect on personalized learning, it is important to take a look at how far we've come, where we are now, and what comes next... Check out the info graphic below about our Personalized Learning Journey to learn more about the process.

iSchool Advocates Team

RTMS is currently accepting applications for the iSchool Advocates Team. We need your help in getting the word out. This team of students will be used to help lead the way for students in our personalized learning initiative. They will help spread the message about our mission, as well as serving as role models for how to use technology responsibly. In addition, the iSchool Advocates will provide technical support to students and teachers.

This program starts with a three-day workshop where students will learn to model and leverage responsible use of technology. They will meet other bright students from Taylor Road MS and Chattahoochee HS and learn some awesome new leadership skills. Interested students should visit to apply. If you know of a students that would be a good candidate, please encourage them to apply. The deadline for applying is Friday, December 11th!
