Mathematical Mindset Monday
brought to you by Curriculum & Instruction
Can you change how intelligent you are or is it something you were born with?
Our goal is to continually promote a growth mindset about math teaching and learning.
"...the difference between those who succeed and those who don't is not the brains they were born with, but their approach to life, the messages they receive about their potential, and the opportunities they have to learn." - Jo Boaler

Learning from Mistakes
"Everyone makes mistakes. ...but a mistake is your opportunity to share with me how much you understand. And if I don't know that you don't know something, I need to teach you before the test. The test is too late. And, this is a great spot for me to teach you."
Watch the video below about a class warm up activity that promotes learning from mistakes.
