Thank you for sending in so many pumpkins for our annual Pumpkin Drop! Students start by collecting data on the mass and diameter of the pumpkins, then use data collected during the drop to look for relationships between mass and drop time, pumpkin diameter and crater diameter, and mass and crater depth. Students in Oliver’s class dropped pumpkins on Tuesday and students in Geringer’s class will drop them on Monday of next week.
Next week students will begin to focus on identifying a problem related to traveling to or living on Mars, then will design and build a solution to their identified problem.
Social Studies: Mrs. Goosen & Mr. Landolt
