1ST GRADE
Our 1st graders have been learning about the parts of the plant this week! While in the Hexter garden, they had the chance to explore and find all the parts of the plant: The roots, the stem, the leaves, the flowers and the fruits!
FLS
Track and Field Special Olympics was a blast! Thank you to Ms. Swenson's 2nd grade class for our motivational posters!
4TH GRADE
Here is a picture of our good citizens picking up the litter from the soccer field! Hexter Hawks go green reducing, reusing and recycling!
5TH GRADE
5th grade teachers had a blast during April Fools' Day! Mrs. Youngblood switched chairs with Pre-K and told the 5th grade students "You must have grown into giants overnight!"

A student art show will be on display in front of the Auditorium until late May. Come see the talented art students at Hexter! Here is a picture of some of the art projects that you will see!
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
During PE class, 1st grade students have been playing hoops and hoops! Also, the winner of 'Coach For The Day', Elle Sheaffer, loves telling the bigger kids what to do!
HEXTER GARDEN
Thanks to all the volunteers and shoppers who made the 8th Annual Earth Day Plant Sale a big success! This fundraiser supports Hexter's Outdoor Learning Garden Program for the entire school year and assures that students continue to have the opportunity to experience hands-on learning in nature!
WHITE ROCK HOME TOUR
This last weekend Hexter celebrated the eleventh White Rock Home Tour and it was a GREAT SUCCESS! Parent engagement at the school is exceptionally high and the White Rock Home Tour is one of our most significat fundraisers, allowing us to invest in needed campus improvements, technology and literacy!
