Michelle Liu, a senior at CHHS, became a FASCA member in July 2015. From September 2015 to August 2016, she accumulated over 250 hours of Chinese cultural-related service hours, earning her the President’s Volunteer Service Award Gold Level (the highest level of achievement). She participated in more than 20 events, including volunteering at the Crow Museum in Dallas and Colleyville Heritage High School’s Chinese Club. Other activities include volunteering as a counselor for Chinese Youth Camp, working as a TA for FASCA Houston, volunteering at Sacred Heart Chinese School’s Mid-Autumn Festival, FASCA on-line cultural assignment, and many more Chinese community activities.

CHHS Boys Basketball Spotlight Players of the Week
Logan Kari – Varsity
Logan is a Senior Forward whose favorite part of playing is the guys. He says he thinks his game most resembles Tim Duncan. His favorite thing to do in his free time is play 2k, and his personal goal for the season is to help the team win games.
Jackson Radandt– Varsity
Jackson is a Junior Guard who was inspired to play basketball by his dad. His personal goal for the season is to shoot a lot of 3s. His favorite restaurant is P.F. Changs and his dream car is a Range Rover. His favorite class besides basketball is Computer Science.
Kris Elias– JV
Kris is a Sophomore Guard who loves a crowd that cheers at the games. He thinks his game most resembles Jason Williams. His personal goal for the season is to score 20 points. His favorite class besides Basketball is Digital Multimedia, and in his free time he likes to play Xbox.
Will Jennings – Freshman Black
Will is a Freshman Guard who says his game most resembles Larry Bird. His favorite restaurant is Burger Box, and his favorite class outside the gym is Art or Math. In his free time he likes to play b-ball and lift. His goal for the team this season is to go undefeated.
Devin Bell – Freshman Red
Devin is a Freshman Forward who says his game resembles Kristaps Porzingis. He says what he likes most about basketball is working hard and getting better. His favorite class besides basketball is Spanish or Math. His favorite restaurant is Subway and his dream car is a Corvette.
