KEYCLUB
Keyclub has several big projects coming up…Yuda bands, Downtown cleanup and Relay for Life.
Yuda bands is a project where students sell leather bracelets made in Ecuador for $7 apiece. They then turn that money in, to sponsor a child in Ecuador for one year of schooling. When they sell 175 bracelets they will have enough for one year’s tuition! This is a cool project because it creates jobs and tuition for students in 3rd world countries. To learn more check out this video… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQcgJLs2ihU then buy a YUDA band on sale April 21st from Hempstead Keyclub students.
Saturday morning April 26th the keyclubbers will be doing a downtown cleanup in collaboration with Kiwanis and The Boys and Girls club among others. We are trying to keep our city looking beautiful!
Friday June 6th and 7th is Dubuque’s Relay for Life. You can go to … Relayforlife.org and find the Hempstead team then join our team or just sponsor us. We could really use your support!
