Carruth House
Whangarei Boys' High School Term 4 Edition 2 2019
Developing Boys into Fine Men
The close of another chapter...
Congratulations to all the juniors who received awards and prizes at their prizegiving. Your hard work has paid off. To those who didn't receive anything, hang in there and continue to work hard.
It is certainly with a tinge of sadness that I write my last Carruth House newsletter to you all. Since I arrived in March 2014, it has been a wonderful adventure and to see ex-Carrutians return regularly has always been a delight. Soon after my arrival, I started a Carruth House Twitter account and so far we have sent out 2,550 tweets with over 200 followers. Facebook has also been very popular to help you understand the great work that happens in and around Carruth House.
I would like to wish all the new boarders coming in for 2020 the very best and I trust that Carruth House will go from strength to strength. To the current boarders, work hard and use Carruth House to your advantage. To those leaving, all the best and don't forget about the importance that Carruth House has made in your life and make sure you connect with the Old Boys' Association.
Once again, on behalf of Jacqui and myself, thank you all for your fantastic support over these past 6 incredible years.
I would like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and enjoy the New Year festivities in a safe way.
