Happy Holidays
I hope this newsletter finds you enjoying the quick transition from fall to winter. The colors of fall create a picturesque landscape and then very quickly December is upon us bringing a very special time of year. A season which focuses on spending time gathering together with family and friends to create memories that last a lifetime.
The month of December includes the focus on gifts. We will busy ourselves this holiday season seeking to pick out the perfect gift. Some gifts we purchase for others and some gifts we share. One gift that is shared and brings staff and families together is children. Children are the foundation of our school and a gift that families share with us. We celebrate each child's uniqueness with you this season and the entire school year. Thank you for the gift that is shared each day.
Best wishes for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday season.
Sincerely,
Stephanie Miller

Motor Vehicle Safety Tips
This week we completed our second bus drill. During this time, students learned about bus safety, crossing the road and watching the driver. Reviewing both bus and vehicle safety with children is essential.
Additionally, New York State requires all children to be restrained while riding in a motor vehcile until they reach their 8th birthday. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends having a child in a approved booster seat until the child is 4 feet 9 inches tall and between 8 and 12 years of age.
