School's Mission Statement
We at Our Lady of the Rosary along with our parents, exist to serve God through educating and nurturing the whole child. We will be held accountable for our faith and loyalty through consistency, leadership, and service to Christ. Our goal as a community is to academically challenge our students and to instill a sense of leadership, service, humility, and compassion.
Dear Our Lady of the Rosary Families,
On behalf of the staff at Our Lady of the Rosary School, I am happy to welcome you to the 2022-23 school year! We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. We recognize that in order to be successful in school, our children need support from both the home and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education.
We gratefully welcome back our ever-faithful teachers and staff. Our returning faculty and staff include; Ms. Deleon, Mr. Tiznado, Ms. Salcido, Ms. Fletes, Mrs. Diaz, Mrs. Rubalcava Ms. Lozano, Mrs. Ramirez, Ms. Gordillo, Ms. Stacy, Mrs. Reed, Teresa, Mrs. Sharon Padilla, Mrs. Natally, and myself, Mrs. Rivas.
To complement the continuing staff, the following teachers were hired:
Mrs. Erika Orejel is the school's secretary, she started in June and has been working during the summer. Mrs. Orejel has worked in the parish rectory and comes with good references.
Mrs. Annette Licea has been hired for the 3rd-grade position. This year will be her thirteenth year of teaching. She has a master's degree in Elementary Education from Loyola Marymount University. She has taught from preschool to 4th grade.
Miss. Julia French has been hired for our 7th-grade position, she will be joining our middle school team to teach ELA and religion. She is an ACE Teaching Fellow from the University of Notre Dame and will be earning her Master's degree in Education. Her Bachelor Degree major was in Philosophy and her minor was in Education.
Our 4th-grade teacher Mrs. Daisy Barajas will not be returning, she will be relocating with her family and will be too long of a drive to work for her. We wish her the best.
Ms. Vargas will not be returning and has accepted an administration position at Salesian High School. She will be greatly missed by the whole school community. Keep the faith that you can achieve anything you want. All you need is self-belief. And never forget that we all believe in you too! Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors.
