Hello Families!
2020 Pirate Youth Sports Lacrosse indoor conditioning is quickly approaching. We opened registration early this year to allow families to register their kids and make smaller payments, before the season starts. Payment must be made in full by the first indoor practice to receive your gear.
We will host a Coaches interest meeting, and Parent helper meeting Monday January 27 at 6pm at Boggy Draw located @ 3535 S Platte River Dr unit l, Sheridan, CO 80110.
PYS and our sports are ran ENTIRELY by volunteers. If you are interested in coaching or assisting with the program, please email me at lblair8888@gmail.com! All coaches are required to pass a background check , and complete two training's that can be found on our site. Your help is welcomed and needed. In order to continue to keep our programs running throughout the years we need parents like you to step in and help!!
Our Timeline:
- Indoor Practices Start: Monday February 3rd, 2020 Practices will be Monday's and Wednesday's at Colorado's Finest High School. The times will be altering throughout the month- I will be sending an email to all those who have registered next week
- Outdoor Practices Start Tuesday March 17, 2020. Practices will be Tuesday's and Thursdays. at Denny Miller Field from 5:30-8:00pm
- Cost $180.00 if renting gear, 150 if using your own
- Games: Saturday Mornings at alternating locations throughout the front range. We plan on having three home weekends. These weekends are big for our teams as we run concession stands to fund raise for our end of season banquet, and help with uniforms. Games should begin March 28
Players must be in 1st through 8th grade. All willing players are welcome! No previous experience is necessary. We will do our best to play your kids in their proper age group but due to registration numbers the younger kids may be playing with one of the older teams.
