Tustumena Elementary Newsletter
January 22, 2019
Dear Tustumena Families,
From Nurse Claudette:
Happy 2019!
As we start off the second half of the year, please remember to follow the following rules regarding sending your child to school.
Do Not send your child to school if:
1). They have had a fever over 100.0 in the past 24 hours.
2). They have vomited once or had 2 episodes of diarrhea in the past 24 hours.
3). If they have red, swollen, itchy eyes draining clear, yellow or green discharge.
Please remember, if your child test positive for lice, you will need to treat them at home. Contact my office if you have questions or concerns about treatment. They will need to be checked by an approved person before returning to the classroom – you must escort them to school for this.
Let’s all work together to keep our school a healthy and happy place!
