WHO’S YOUR NEW TEACHER?
Find out who your child’s homeroom teacher is by going through the registration process that will be open starting on August 8.
PICTURE DAY!
August 31 will be our district-wide picture day from 11:00am – 7:00 pm. Instead of having to go to each school for pictures, you will be able to take all of your children to the High School for pictures that day.
WELCOME BACK SUPPLY DROP-OFF and ICE CREAM SOCIAL
Waubesa School will be hosting a special night for parents and children to visit the school. This open house is an opportunity to meet your teachers, drop off your school supplies, visit with other families, and eat ice cream. Please join us between 5:30pm – 7:30pm on August 29. (Please note that each school has slightly different schedules for their welcome back nights). September 1 will be a full day of classes for Waubesa students.
Online Registration for Fall 2016
We will again be using the on-line registration process that we used last year. We found this to be effective and efficient for both families and district staff members. All families will log into Infinite Campus where they will have access to the documents and forms necessary for the coming school year. You will also be able to pay all fees on-line, add funds to your family lunch accounts and you will learn your child’s homeroom teacher for 2016-17, all from the comfort of your home. The tentative date for on-line registration to open is Monday, August 8. You will be receiving further, detailed information as the date gets closer.
Letters with Infinite Campus registration information will be e-mailed to you in early August with the registration information. If you would like assistance with online registration you may come to Waubesa Intermediate School between the hours of 7:30 – 3:30, Monday through Friday, August 8 – 26, and we will assist you with the online process and provide computer access. If these hours do not work for your family, contact Sue Murphy at 838-7667 to schedule an evening appointment.

From the desk of Principal Sue Murphy...
It’s hard to believe that summer is right around the corner. The school year goes by so quickly. We have been fortunate here at Waubesa to have so many great children who work hard every day and treat their classmates with respect. Not to say there aren’t bumps in the road along the way, but we really do have awesome students. Of course this wouldn’t be true if we didn’t also have terrific families. The support we get from the families of our Waubesa students is exceptional and makes the work we do every day so much easier. Thank you for all of your support during the year. Enjoy the summer break
Sue Murphy
Principal
Waubesa Intermediate School
There are many items in and on the lost and found bins and tables. PLEASE ask your student to take a look for any things that you might suspect are missing: sweatshirts, shoes, lunch boxes, t-shirts, pants, etc. You are welcome to come in and take a look also. These bins and tables are located just outside the cafeteria.
Items not claimed will be donated to Goodwill on: Monday, June 13.
Please join us in wishing the following staff members the best in their retirements. We appreciate all they have done for our students.
Sue Trentadue - School Psychologist
DeAnn Larson - 3-5 Music Teacher
Information on our newly hired teachers will be included in the first newsletter in the fall.
