Pathfinder Field Day / May 14th
Pathfinder Field Day is coming up! We will have some fun in the sun all while reviewing how to recycle, play some games, to help kids play 60 minutes a day! If you'd like more info, please refer to this Parent Info Packet!
Sadly, parents and guardians will not be invited this year in effort to keep our #s low.
When: Friday, May 14th
Where: The YMCA Fields right next to Barry Middle School.
Who: Pathfinder Kindergarten through 4th-grade students.
Be on the lookout for your classroom teacher to ask you what your child’s lunch choice will be!
School Lunch: Deli sandwich, fruit side, vegetable side, white or chocolate milk.
Home lunch indicates that the parent or guardian will be sending a packed lunch to school.
Andy’s Ice Cream will also be donated! Any children with dairy allergies will be offered a Pop-Ice!
What will my child need to wear/bring?
Old tennis shoes and clothes that you are ok with your student getting some dirt and water on!
Please send a reusable water bottle to school that day.
Will my child need sunscreen?
It depends on the weather & your child’s sensitivity. Parents are encouraged to put a layer on in the morning. Any extra needs will need to be communicated with Nurse Sarah.
If you have extra sunscreen needs for your child, send those to the nurse and provide sunscreen.
Spray sunscreen is preferred and it helps to label the bottle!
Does dismissal change?
Pick-up procedures will not change. We will dismiss like we normally do.
Any other questions? Email me, Joe Masciovecchio, at masciovj@platteco.k12.mo.us
Big shoutout to Pathfinder PTA for sponsoring and funding this entire event!
