A Message from the Principal
Dear PV Eagle Families,
I hope this message finds you well and filled with anticipation for the upcoming school year. As the proud principal of Prairie View Middle School, I am thrilled to warmly welcome both returning and new Eagles.
At Prairie View Middle School, we provide quality instruction and support our students academically and in their personal growth. Throughout the year, we will celebrate achievements, overcome challenges, and create lasting memories. Whether it's in the classroom, on the playing field, or through participation in clubs and activities, there will be numerous opportunities for your child to grow, learn, and make meaningful connections.
If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact your student’s teacher, our office staff, or our administrative team. Let's work together to make this school year exceptional and unforgettable.
Our motto this year is “Eagles Will Soar in ‘23-’24”. Together, we can make this a reality.
Best Regards,
Maura R. Baskovich
Transportation
Transportation information is available in the Infinite Campus Parent Portals.

Arrival & Dismissal Procedures
Arrival Procedures:
Please stop at the STOP sign and wait to be directed by staff to pull up. Buses will be leaving at the same time. Please pull ALL THE WAY FORWARD on the driveway.
Dismissal Procedures:
After buses leave, cars will be directed to come around to the front of the school and pull all the way forward in the driveway.
A Few Friendly Reminders:
- There is no left turn into the parking lot off of 175th street. (see picture above). Turning left backs up traffic and keeps buses from getting into the parking lot.
- When you turn into the parking lot, please form a single-file line on the arrows. Once you are in the parking lot, double lines can be formed. We ask that cars not block the far right lane so that buses can get into the driveway.
- Do not pull behind the buses at pick-up. Cars should not be in the driveway until the buses have left to avoid collisions with the buses.
- When dropping off and picking up, please pull forward as much as possible. When cars stop right in front of the building or do not pull all the way forward, fewer cars can load and leave. Your student will walk down to your car.
Thank you for your cooperation in this process. Following these procedures will hopefully allow for quicker and safer drop-off and pick-up of the students. Their safety is our biggest concern.
New Sidewalk
Prairie View has a brand new sidewalk that runs along the east side of the parking lot providing a safer passage for our walkers when they enter and exit the school. Please reference the map (click on map for larger image) below that includes information regarding which way students who are walking will enter/exit Prairie View depending on which direction they are walking. During the first week of school, this map and information will be shared directly with students during their advisory classes.
