School Board meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at the Haines Center until further notice. All meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and the public is invited to attend. Agenda packets are available at district.d303.org.

Superintendent’s Report
Compass Academy earns $100,000 Grant
- Compass Academy received a grant from the Technology and Manufacturing Association of Illinois in the amount of $100,000.
- The money is to be used to purchase two industry-standard CNC machines (one vertical machining center and one lathe) for the METT (manufacturing, engineering, technology, and trades) lab in support of related pathway development.
Veterans Day
District 303 continues with its history of holding school on Veterans Day as a way to teach students about the contributions of Veterans and to also recognize and celebrate veterans in our community.
Consent Agenda
The consent agenda was approved by a vote of 5-0.
Mrs. Fairgrieve, who joined the meeting virtually, was experiencing technical difficulties during the vote.
The consent agenda includes items such as:- the minutes from previous committee meetings
- the personnel report
- renewal of the financial and human resources system
- substitute teacher pay
- technology
- four IASB resolutions that were carried over from last year

Appointment of L&T Committee Co-Chair
Mrs. Barker appointed Mrs. McCabe to serve as the new co-chair of the Learning and Teaching Committee
IASB Resolutions Voting
Each year, Illinois school districts send a delegate to the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) annual meeting to vote on resolutions that could potentially be included or addressed in an upcoming legislative session. These delegates help the IASB understand the positions of school districts across the state.This year, Mrs. McCabe will vote on behalf of District 303. The following includes the resolutions and the Board's decisions on how Mrs. McCabe will vote during the IASB conference on November 21.
