Hi Charlotte,
So, my anniversary with my girlfriend is coming up and I have absolutely no idea what to get her. I'm taking her out to dinner on the night of our anniversary. We're going to her favorite restaurant and I want it to be special. What do you think?
- A Struggling Significant Other
Dear Struggling Significant Other,
I was thinking that you should get her something from the heart. Those are always the most personal gifts. And Christmas is coming up too! Make or get her something that has significance, rather than what is on the price tag.
Love,
Charlotte
Dear Charlotte,
I think I have a crush on my best guy friend. It’s really stressing me out, because he’s with this other girl. What do I do?
- Completely Confused
Dear Completely Confused,
This is a tough situation. The first thing I would do, before you do anything rash, is to find out if you value his friendship more than going into a relationship. Because, it could end badly, and you want to prepare for the worst, and hope for the best. He might not have the same feelings, and it could just be an awkward mess.
On the other hand, he could also have the same feelings. IYouu need to figure out whether you value his friendship more than having a relationship with him.
Love,
Charlotte
Dear Charlotte,
There has been a lot of stuff going on at home. And school is stressing me out like crazy! I’m nervous for my exams and I could really use some advice!
- Nervous Nelly
Dear Nervous Nelly,
Try to focus on the subjects you’re having the most difficulty in. Budget your time, and ask your teachers if there is any time that you can stay in with them for extra help. Try to spend more time studying and less time goofing around at home, so that you can retain more information.
For exams, you have to set aside a few nights or so, so that you can focus completely on the subject you’ll be taking the exam for in the morning. It’s better to study a little at a time then to cram everything in last minute.
Love,
Charlotte
