School Board meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at the Haines Center. All meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and the public is invited to attend. Agenda packets are available at district.d303.org.

Superintendent Report
Dr. Pearson introduced North High School Swimming Coach Rob Rooney who introduced Alek Filipovic, who won State in both the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Butterfly. Coach Rooney talked about his accomplishments in the pool as well as his leadership outside of the pool. When Alek graduates, he will be attending the University of Texas.

Dr. Pearson also introduced Stephanie Dodd to showcase award-winning artists from St. Charles North High School. Several students competed in the Illinois High School Art Exhibition, which is similar to a state championship for art students.
- Emma Garcia took 3rd place for drawing. She will be attending SIU Carbondale next year to study art.
- Anna Brandt received over $200,000 in scholarships and received the Visionary Art Award. She will be attending Michigan State.
Emily Hartman also participated in the Scholastic Art Competition and received a gold medal for photography. There were 300,000 pieces submitted and she was one of 1% in the nation to receive the gold medal. Emily will be recognized for her artwork at Carnegie Hall in the summer.
Executive Director of Elementary Education
Dr. Pearson introduced Jarrod Buxton, current Munhall principal, as the next Executive Director of Elementary Education. He will be replacing Jan Geier who is retiring in June.Students across the district are taking standardized tests this week. IAR, PSAT, and SATs are all taking place.

For Action
Motion passed by a vote of 7-0
As part of the Five Year Capital Improvement Plan, the District solicited bids for the Wredling Middle School track improvement project. The District will contract with Abbey Paving to complete the project.
St. Charles East Stage Curtain Bid
Motion passed by a vote of 7-0
The District solicited bids on the East High School/Norris Cultural Arts Center Stage. The District will contract with IWEISS Holdings, LLC for new curtains.
