Choir Fundraiser
Come out and support the CB West Choir at our Car Wash Fundraiser on October 29 from 9:00 – 3:00 at Keenan Collison Center in Doylestown.

End of First Marking Period
November 7th is the last day of the First Marking Period. Report cards will be accessible on November 16 via Parent Portal.
Yearbook News
Friday November 11th is the deadline to have your Senior's Baby Photo printed in the Antler Yearbook. Available at an additional cost of $50, you can fill out an order form, available on the Antler website or you can email your picture/message to Stephanie Ferraro (sferraro@cbsd.org). Parent Positive Series
The Parent Positive Speaker Series is a collaboration among Doylestown Health, CB Cares Educational Foundation, the Central Bucks School District, and the Central Bucks Family YMCA. The next Parent Positive session scheduled for November 1st.
Congratulations National Honor Society Inductees
The Central Bucks West High School National Honor Society inducted 132 members on October 20. This is the largest number of inductees in school history. Congratulations to these inductees for continually demonstrating outstanding scholarship, service, leadership and character.

News from Chinese Class
Students in Chinese class have been learning about Chinese names and the invention of the printing in ancient China. Students applied the concept of an engraving plate printing technique to create a” Chinese seal-like” art project with their own Chinese name.
News from the Business Department
The Buxmont Chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of Tax & Accounting Professionals awarded a grant to the CB West Business Department to purchase software for the Business Administration course. The new program is an online simulation that develops student’s management and supervisory skills in various topics such as Management Accounting, Employee Supervision and Operations Management. With the funds provided, a 5-year license was purchased which will have a positive impact on the learning experience of approximately 250 students.
The Buxmont Chapter of the PSTAP, is the largest chapter, representing over 450 accountants in various fields. It is dedicated to encouraging high standards of technical proficiency, and protecting and supporting small business throughout Pennsylvania. The PSTAP’s education initiative promotes the development of future business leaders in our society in various ways, one of which is offering grants to high school business departments.
Mrs. Fosbenner and the Business Department would like to thank Mr. Frank L Corso, CPA, chairperson of the Education Initiative for considering CB West for this very generous award.
News from Spanish Honor Society
Spanish National Honor Society students, gather weekly with ELL, (first language Spanish) students for authentic language practice, cultural exchange and forming new friendships.
CB Cares PUMPKINFEST
At the CB Cares 2016 Pumpkinfest, CB West won first Honorable Mention as well as the Overall "Award of Distinction" for our collaborative, unified, and teamwork approach to our theme and working together.
