HHS Engineering Students Create Robotic Hand for Classmate
HHS Participates in BEST Robotics Competition
The Engineering Design and Development class participated in the BEST Robotics competition at Lipscomb University. Students used raw materials, plywood, and aluminum and learned how to machine and create every piece on the robot. They earned 5th Place in the game and received the Award for Engineering Excellence and most Robust Robot.
BHS Early Childhood Education
Early Childhood Education students at Beech High School prepared puppet shows for the Little Buc Learning Center.
WHS Teaching as a Profession Students Help in WES Classrooms
"Build a City" Comes to SCHS
Station Camp High School's Business and Commercial Interior Design classes worked together to "Build a City" out of boxes. Vision boards were created for the businesses and the city layout.
Criminal Justice
LCHS Criminal Justice students went on a field trip to the Sumner County Jail, General Sessions Court, and the Animal Control shelter.
LCHS Completes First OSHA 10 Certification
Lily Manigault was the first Advanced Manufacturing student at LCHS to complete OSHA 10 certification, completing her exam after 16+ hours of training. Additionally, LCHS had a total of 60 Advanced Manufacturing students complete their OSHA 10 certification this semester.
Shining a Light on Construction
At WHS, Mr. Anderson's Fundamentals of Construction class constructed rustic lanterns made from tobacco sticks. The students were responsible for selecting suitable sticks, cutting necessary angles and then putting them together with a finish nailer. Different species of wood were used and identified by characteristics such as hardness, color, and smell. The lanterns contain oak, poplar, cherry and sassafras wood.
Westmoreland FFA
WHS students participated in the wood category at the MTSU Raider Roundup Agricultural Engineering Design & Fabrication Project Show. Members designed and constructed this coffee table.
Members: Colton Borders, Issac Morris, Cayden Smith, Patrick Hernandez, Brady Williams, Leonjino Aguilar-Ventura, Zach Peterson, and Colby Warner.

FFA Officers Shine
Connect/I AM Conference
Five students attended Connect/I Am Conference at FFA Camp in Doyle, TN. They developed leadership skills to take back to their chapter and community. Students also completed a service project for kids in Africa to keep them from getting a parasitic disease called 'Jiggers'.

LCHS Greenhands
LCHS celebrated its first crop of Greenhands in November, with 52 total students earning the recognition. Over half of them were able to celebrate at the Greenhand Ceremony.
First Guest Speaker
Clint Parker spoke with all three Agriscience classes about the poultry industry and trained several students to compete in the Central Region 4H Poultry competition.
First FFA Competition
The livestock team placed 7th in the state in Open Livestock Judging and the Floral Design Team placed 13th in the state. This was the first competition by any of these members.
SCHS Fashion Students Go Wild
Ms. Lopes' Fashion Design students worked with aspiring designers at SCE to create some wild art! Mrs. Merriman had her 1st grade students draw a picture of a monster. Those sketches were sent to Fashion Design II students who "brought them to life" and turned them into a stuffed animal. Upon completion of the monsters using hand and machine sewing techniques, the high school artists delivered the 3-D versions to their original creators.
It's Game On for HHS Digital Arts
Students in the Digital Art and Design 1 class at Hendersonville High School took inspiration from vintage video games to create gifts for teachers. Students have been working with Adobe Illustrator and took some time to create 8-bit inspired Nintendo cartridge art.
The designs were created in collaboration with their teachers. Together, they came up with concepts that worked well in a limited design aesthetic and on a small scale. The final designs were then placed on laser cut wood panels shaped like original Nintendo cartridges.
Liberty Creek HOSA Members Conduct Health Screenings for LCES Students
WHHS Career Day
White House High School DECA students hosted a Career Day. More than fifty industry representatives shared information with students about ways to be successful after high school. Project Managers: Addy Harris, Leah Stephens, Kelsie Lea, and Brianna Grizzell worked to gather the professional guest speakers and post-secondary representatives, built a team of 60+ DECA members to help execute the day-of tasks, and successfully executed WHHS's first school-wide Career Day.
FCCLA Leads the Way
Station Camp FCCLA traveled to Columbus, Ohio, Nov 10-13th to attend the FCCLA National Fall Conference. They listened to keynote speakers, attended General Sessions, took part in Youth Workshops and actively participated in the Lifesmarts Knowledge Bowl.
Station Camp High School's FCCLA chapter opened up a coffee shop, "Bison Brew", and it has taken off! The coffee shop offers a variety of hot and cold beverages and is open three times a day, every week day.
SCS Students Titan Up at the Titans Learning Lab
Forty-two FBLA and DECA students from HHS attended the Titans Learning Lab in November. Students had the opportunity to hear about career opportunities with the Titans in the areas of Public Relations, Ticket Sales, Control Room/Technology, Community Outreach, and Finance. Students traveled around Nissan Stadium and also enjoyed a tour of the Titans locker room.
Westmoreland High School FBLA students also attended the Titans Learning Lab.
