From School Administration
Spring is finally here! Spring: A lovely reminder of how beautiful change can be. Now that we are in the new season, we are reminded of how much our students have changed from the start of the school year. Some changes observed include:
- academic growth
- new friendships
- more self-confidence
- stronger collaboration skills
- willingness to take risks
- empathy towards others
We encourage you to take time to note the changes in your child from the start of the year and to celebrate that growth. Before we know it, this school year will come to a close. Let's enjoy and embrace all the wonderful changes this year has brought for your child and finish the year strong!
Next Friday is a half day of school and the end of the third quarter. Spring Break is April 1-10.
This is the last newsletter until after Spring Break. The next Cougar Comments will be issued on Friday, April 14. Have a fantastic Spring Break!

Annual Indicators of Educational Equity Survey (IEES)
Great job CCES. As of today, we have 150 survey responses! If you have not completed the IEES survey, please do that now.
As part of our school improvement process, we ask families to provide input about their equity priorities at our school. Please use the links below to complete the HCPSS Indicators of Educational Equity Survey by May 12th. We will use your input, along with other school data, to refine our school improvement plan for next year. Your voice is important for the process of school improvement, and we truly hope every family will complete this survey.
This survey is anonymous and available in multiple languages. If you have children at more than one school, please complete one survey per school.
