COVID Communication Form
Hello Wentworth Families,
In an effort to streamline communication between our families and schools, we are asking families to fill out a COVID Communication form if your student(s) tests positive for COVID-19. Please know that school nursing staff will be in contact with you as needed by the end of the next school day.
Additionally, we now have a new section on our website which includes information about pooled testing, including the option to enroll (or unenroll) your child. Here is the link: https://www.scarboroughschools.org/covid-19.
Thank you to our school community for your support and communication as we navigate this challenging time together.
Respectfully,
Kelli Crosby, Principal
Karen Walker, Interim Assistant Principal
"Just In Case" At Home Learning Packets
Dear Families,
- Please do not panic! There are no plans to transition to remote learning. These packets are so we are prepared just in case school has to be remote for a short time.
- Tuck your "Just in Case" packet in a safe place where you/your child can find it if needed.
- No matter how cool and fun the activities are, please do not work on the assignments ahead of time or without being directed to do so.
- Teachers have collaborated to compile five days of school work and activities that they feel students can work on off-line, and with a great deal of independence. The sets are clearly labelled with Day 1, Day 2, and so on.
- Further directions will be provided IF we ever have to use our "Just In Case" At Home Learning Packets.
Three cheers for our amazing staff who thoughtfully selected, created, gathered, organized, and compiled this work for students. We want to be prepared, but we do not want to create any unnecessary concern. Please reach out to me directly if you have any questions, and keep your eyes out for the "Just In Case" packet early next week.
Thank you for your support and understanding,
Kelli Crosby
Principal
We Know How to be Flexible Thinkers!
