During these virtual sessions, students are welcome to drop in at any time throughout the hour to talk with a mental health professional for support if they have any concerns about returning to school in person, or changes that they may be experiencing if they are remaining remote. These sessions are divided by age bands and are being offered for students in third grade and up. If there are students in Pre-K through second grade who are in need of support, parents/guardians are encouraged to reach out to their building social worker.
If your child might benefit from talking with a counselor, please encourage them to join this drop-in and support them with accessing the links below.

NEW! Winter Lunch Pickup at Villa Park Public Library!
We are pleased to announce that we will be offering Winter Lunch Pickup from Tuesday, February 2 – Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm (while lunch supplies last).
This program is available for youth ages 18 & younger. Please note the following rules in place for Winter Lunch Pickup:
- Arrival and Pickup: When you arrive to pickup a lunch, park in the parking lot and come into the library to request a lunch.
- Social Distancing: In order to support social distancing, we will be allowed to serve children outside of the normally-required room setting. This means food does not have to be eaten on-site and can be taken home this winter from the library. We will not be holding the lunch program in the library.
- Parent Pickup: This winter, parents and/or guardians may pickup meals and bring them home to their children. Children do not have to be present in order to receive meals, parents can come ask for meals for however many children they have (no proof required) and take them home.
- Meal Times: Meals will be available from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm (while lunch supplies last).
If you or your child would like to pickup a lunch at the library, please wear a face covering as you will be approaching the library and staff. We thank you in advance for your cooperation. Please visit www.vppl.info for further details.
