Knox-Asian Festival
Kumi Alderman with the Knox Asian Festival has reached out to Knox County Schools and offered to help teachers share information about Asian countries and cultures to KCS students. If you are interested, please contact Kumi at

Celebration
Norwood Elementary and NorthWest Middle in partnership with KIN hosted an Immigrant Thanksgiving Celebration on Saturday, November 19th. This is the first of what we hope to be many more Thanksgiving Celebrations with our immigrant families.
New ELL Students
On November 11, KCS welcomed and enrolled 19 refugee students at Bridge Refugee. Families came from Rwanda, Somalia, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iraq, and the Ukraine. KCS is currently serving 3,080 ELL students.
