MCAULIFFE MESSENGER
April 4, 2024
Dear McAuliffe Families,
We hope this message finds you well and that you had an enjoyable and restful spring break with your families. We are excited to enter into the final stretch of the school year which will be filled with exciting opportunities for growth and learning.
Next week, our 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students will be participating in the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR).. These assessments provide valuable insights into your child's academic progress and help us tailor our teaching strategies to better meet their needs. Children who are well-rested, well-nourished, and have adequate time for relaxation leading up to the test day are more successful on standardized tests. Please be sure your students arrive on time to school as testing will begin right away and students who are late will not be allowed into testing sessions. We ask that you offer support and encouragement to your children in order for them to tackle the IAR with resilience and confidence.
We're excited to announce that registration for the upcoming school year is now open! Whether your child will be returning to McAuliffe or joining us for the first time, we look forward to welcoming them into our school community. Please take the time to complete the registration process as soon as possible to secure your child's spot for the next academic year. Should you have any questions or need assistance with registration, our office staff is available to help.
Let's continue to work together to create a positive and nurturing learning environment for all of our students. Your ongoing support and involvement make a significant difference in the lives of our children, and we're grateful for your partnership.
Sincerely,
Dr. Szczasny
Ms. Folliard
