Character Trait: Caring and Fairness
Our character trait this six weeks is FAIRNESS! Help students remember the importance of being fair at home, at school, and in our community. We will continue to talk about fairness through announcements, guidance lessons, and in class activities!
Our character trait last six weeks was CARING! Our students spread kindness every day by participating in our Catching Kindness Campaign and doing random of acts of kindness every day. If you visited us during the month of February, you saw our kindness tree grow in the cafeteria each week! In the classrooms, we talked about the importance of not wrinkling someone's heart with hurtful words or actions. Granger Wranglers love to show we CARE! Anxiety in Children
Anxiety can be a scary thing for a child. There are a lot of resources for anxiety and how to help when a student starts to feel anxious about something at school or at home. These articles give phrases to help calm an anxious child as well as rethinking test anxiety. Utilizing these now can help students learn the coping strategies they need for the future! If your child needs extra help with coping skills for anxiety, contact Ms. Borg!
