Principal's Note
Hello Bannes Families,
I am so proud of our Bannes students and staff for an amazing 1st Quarter. There is so much learning taking place everyday. We are excited to start 2nd Quarter on Halloween. Below are a few reminders regarding Halloween. Please remember that Monday is a half day of school with no lunch.
9:00-9:30 Halloween Parade
9:30-10:30 Halloween Parties
· No food or candy permitted.
· No siblings are allowed to attend the parties.
· Only approved parent party volunteers allowed to attend the parties.
· Party volunteers need to check in with the office at 8:45 (before the parade begins).
· Costume masks can only be worn for the parade.
· No bloody or gory costumes. No costume weapons can be brought to school.
Half Day Dismissal
Kindergarten – 5th Grade -- 7:55 am – 11:10 am
A.M. Early Childhood -- 7:55 am – 9:20 am
P.M. Early Childhood -- 9:45 am – 11:10 am
Preschool -- 9:40 am -10:40 am

2022 Parent Teacher Conferences
D140 Parent-Teacher Conference Appointments Available Beginning November 1
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held in all KSD 140 elementary and middle schools on Monday, November 21, and Tuesday, November 22. In an effort to better serve our parents, we will be hosting both IN-PERSON and VIRTUAL Parent-Teacher Conferences.
Scheduling
Beginning Tuesday, November 1 at 8:00 am, please click the Parent-Teacher Conference Appointment link found at ksd140.org and follow the directions for scheduling a conference. Our PTCFast.com online scheduler will be open Tuesday, November 1 at 8:00 am through Friday, November 18.
Parent-Teacher Conference Format Options
N-PERSON Schedule:
Monday, November 21: 5 pm - 8 pm
Tuesday, November 22: 12 pm - 3 pm
VIRTUAL Schedule:
Monday, November 21: 1 pm - 4 pm
Tuesday, November 22: 8 am - 11 am
Elementary school conferences will be fifteen minutes in length and middle school conferences will be eight minutes in length, regardless of the format selected.
If you are a middle school parent/guardian, please note that Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held individually by teacher this year. Please log in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal to review your child’s teachers and subject areas before scheduling your conference(s).
If you do not have internet access or are unable to make an appointment, please feel free to contact your child’s school, and the office staff will be happy to assist you.
