Student Classroom Assignments/Schedules and Transportation Information Released via Infinite Campus on Monday, August 7
Elementary classroom assignments, middle school student schedules, and transportation information will be released via Infinite Campus Parent Portals on Monday, August 7 after 8 am.
If you need assistance with your parent portal, please contact your school office.
Middle School Families are Invited to Student/Parent Walkthrough
Wednesday, August 9
9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Grissom and Prairie View's Student/Parent Walkthrough will be held on Wednesday, August 9 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The walkthrough provides an opportunity to purchase locks, gym suits, and spirit wear, pick up pre-ordered school supply kits, receive technology assistance for District-issued iPads, and more!
Students and parents may also walk through the building to familiarize themselves with the location of classes and lockers. Please note that students will not be allowed to enter the building unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. If you have any questions regarding the walkthrough, please contact the Grissom or Prairie View offices.

Welcome! KSD 140 elementary principals and kindergarten teachers will meet with kindergarten students and their parents on Thursday, August 17 from 9 - 10 am at Bannes, Fernway, Keller, McAuliffe, and Millennium.
This is a special time for families to meet their principal and teachers and to find out everything they'll need to know for the first day of school.

D140 Board of Ed Celebrates Special Olympics Summer State Game Competitors
D140’s Special Olympics State team was recognized at the July Board of Education meeting for their outstanding performance at the Summer State Games held June 9 - 11 at Illinois State University.
Eight student-athletes competed in the standing long jump, shot put, softball throw, 50-meter run, 100-meter run, and rhythmic gymnastics and brought home five gold medals, one silver medal, a sixth-place ribbon, an eighth-place ribbon, and a participation ribbon.
Congratulations to Samir A., Erin D., Gwen H., Gabe J., Sam N., Melanie R., Rickson R-D., and Ryan S.

Stop By and See Us at Tinley Park's National Night Out!
We're looking forward to seeing our students and their families at Tinley Park's National Night Out on Tuesday, August 1 between 6-9 pm at Freedom Park, 7835 Timber Drive.
Hosted by the Village of Tinley Park and the Tinley Park Police Department, National Night Out is an annual community-building event that promotes police/community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
The event features family-friendly entertainment and the opportunity to meet local law enforcement professionals, Public Works employees, firefighters, paramedics, Emergency Management Agency and 911 Center personnel, members of the Metra Police Department and the Cook and Will County Sheriff's Police, and representatives from local organizations, schools, and businesses.
