School Visitors
As many parents know, we have a new check-in procedure if you plan on visiting any schools in Strongsville. The new Raptor Security System requires that first time visitors need a driver's license or state id. Once in the system, the check in process is fairly simple and quick. If you are scheduled to volunteer at the upcoming class parties on Monday, October 31st, it is encouraged that your name already be in the system. Otherwise, the check in procedure may be longer than necessary. Feel free to stop into our main office to get "into our system" so your next visit will be quick and the class party check in process can move quickly.
Love and Logic
Please click here to take a quick survey on your interest level of attending a Love and Logic parenting program. If you would like to learn more about raising children who are self-confident, motivated, and ready for the real world. If you would like to put the fun back into parenting and avoid anger, threats, and power struggles with your children please consider completing the Love and Logic survey, checking out the following websites (http://www.chidseyseminars.com and https://www.loveandlogic.com) and attending a Love and Logic class or classes hosted by the Strongsville City Schools. If you have further questions, please contact your school counselor.
ALL Pro Dads Meeting
Click here to see some of the activities planned for November 2nd. At 8:00am an All Pro Dads event will return to Kinsner. Join fellow dads, parents and kids for a quick, before school breakfast and a 45 minute program of fatherhood, parenting and family topics. You'll take away some great tips and resources to help you be the best Dad you can be, and you'll strengthen the relationship with your kids at the same time. It's fun...and it's FREE! Hope to see you there.
Counselor Connection
Counselor Connection is new for October and November. In this edition you will learn about Anti-bullying month, a video on the power of one, mix-it-up day at lunch, and some information on 4th and 5th grade guidance lessons.
Thank you for your continued support!
