PARENT COUNCIL
Parent Council News
Our next Parent Council meeting is Wednesday, December 5th, 2018 at 7:30pm in the Library Learning Commons. Grade 5 teachers, Mrs. Keetley and Mr. Savard, will be presenting. Doors open at 7pm with holiday treats and beverages provided. Come a little early and get to know other River Heights parents. Parent Council is one platform where you, as parents and guardians, have a voice. Come and hear what is going on in our school in December as well as our school district. Along with school administration and teachers presenting, we share updates on our various activities. You would be surprised where your fundraising [hot lunch] dollars go!!! We help fund various field trips and activities as well as school run events.
You should have received a note home regarding A Winter Village; which takes place on Thursday, December 20th from 6-8pm. We are in need of volunteers, snacks, as well as new or gently used items for a Gift Shop for students to shop for their parents. Please fill it out and either send the lower portion back in or text a picture of it to Kim McDowall on the Remind app.
