Dear Families,
We have embarked on almost a full week of learning. Students have been settling into the rules and routines of a new year. Students are back into pre-pandemic learning environments sitting in groups, coming to the rug, and utilizing the 21st century furniture that was purchased for the design of our building.
Thank you to the PTA who put together a phenomenal picture day. Seeing all the students dressed up and ready to impress was certainly a highlight of the week. Don't miss the very first PTA meeting of the year, this Tuesday at 7pm live and in person!
A reminder, our school doors open at 8:00am. Students are able to get a free breakfast and eat in their classrooms. At 8:16am, you child will be marked late and will be missing critical math, reading, and other learning. A perk of getting to school at 8am is that traffic and the drop off line is significantly shorter. Thank you for your continued partnership in having your students arrive to school on time so they are ready for their learning to begin at 8:15am.
Finally, thank you for your patience as the district adjusts to a new bus company. To echo Dr. Jones, we have seen an improvement on bus arrival times to stops and look forward to continued improvement.
We look forward to seeing you and your children this week for our first full week of school.
Your Interim Principal & Assistant Principal,
Mrs. Eisenstein & Mrs. Vaccarelli (Mazzilli)
