PHS Students attend APPS Camp
On February 27, seven Pacific High School students attended Fontbonne’s first ever Griffin-Hackathon. The event was sponsored by Mathematics Educators of Greater St. Louis, Emerson, and Lockerdome. When students arrived at the university, they were given a pair of prompts for designing an app and later asked to present their creation in front of a panel of judges. Fourteen teams competed with a top prize of $500. There were many great ideas and apps presented from all the contestants. Although our students didn’t place, they represented our school and community extremely well.

A Big Thank You from Riverbend
Writer's Week (at Riverbend) was a huge success, and that would never have happened without the efforts of everyone in this building. As I think back over the past weeks (and months) I remember many people adding to the festivities. This Monday and Thursday, everyone pitched in to help things run smoothly, to encourage the students in their writing, to make the presenters feel welcome, to just make it fun!
Thank you! It's wonderful to work with all of you.
Have a great weekend!
