Pizza Day Volunteers Needed*:
- New sign-up for January through June is now open here.
- As a reminder, please contact our Pizza Day coordinators for last-minute cancellations or to be added to the substitute list: jhejza19@gmail.com or 847-772-3337.
*Important Things to Know about Volunteering:
Please do not sign up more than ONCE when initially signing up to give everyone a chance to volunteer. We have had many parents who were not able to volunteer last semester because there were no available days/times.
We often have last-minute cancellations. This year we are going to have a waitlist section on each signup date. This means you would be a sub for that date and time. We won't be able to guarantee which grade. We will contact you if you will be needed to sub. You can always check the sign-up a few days before pizza day to check for any openings that week too.
Also if you would like to be on a substitute list, please send an email with your name, email, phone number, and grade to jhejza19@gmail.com or 847-772-3337.

Did you Know that Field School is Composting?
During lunch students have three choices for their food waste: landfill, recycle, and compost. Students can compost any food waste and paper products like napkins and compostable plates. Composting keeps valuable food scraps from going to a landfill where they take up space and create methane, a harmful greenhouse gas. Food waste that is diverted to compost creates no pollution, takes up no space, and can be turned into valuable fertilizer to grow more food. Thank you Mrs. McCabe and her Green Team of Students !
Interested in composting at home? Checkout Collective Resource or Backyard Composting for more information
