DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS
For our Daily Announcements, feel free to click HERE to access the announcements we read to students each morning. The tabs along the bottom are for each week of the school year and are continuously updated throughout each week. As each week ends, the tab is moved to the far right. Feel free to visit or add announcements to your PowerSchool Accounts and you can get announcements sent to your email as often as you prefer.

VPPD Presentation
Officer Bregman with the Villa Park Police Department will be giving our students a presentation. Attached is a letter from her providing you with the important topics she will cover during her presentation. The presentation will take place on April 26th and 27th during PE. Feel free to contact Officer Bregman directly or our PE Department Leader Mrs. Zaccaro if you have any questions.
Early Dismissal
Materials Pick-up
On Wednesday, 4.28.21, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, teachers that wish to have additional resources available to students in remote learning will have them available for pick-up. Students can check with their teachers to see if there is anything they need to pick-up. If there's something for your student to pick-up, feel free to stop in and pick-up the 5 free breakfast and 5 free lunches from the D45 meal program while you're there. The remaining dates for material pick-up this year are:
- Wednesday, 5.12, 4pm - 6pm
- Wednesday, 5.26, 4pm - 6pm
8th Grade Promotion Update (aka: grduation)
To all 8th Grade families,
As mentioned last week, we are continuing to work on the end of the year activities and promotional experiences for our 8th grade students at Jefferson. If you haven't already, please take a few moments to look over the following document to learn about the items we've been working on and preparing for your 8th grader. All 8th graders were issued a copy of the "Important Dates" list pictured below to take hoe. Further details/reminders will be sent as we get closer to each event in May. The 8th grade letter is available in ENGLISH or en ESPAÑOL! If you have any questions after reading this letter, please contact our office at 630.516.7800.
IAR Testing, May 10 - 14
We are preparing to administer the Illinois Assessments of Readiness (IAR) at Jefferson the week of May10 to May 14. The following letter is available in ENGLISH or en ESPAÑOL will be sent home this week. The following are a few highlights in the letter:
- In-Person Students will be tested during the attendance days and parents do not need to do anything further. Students need to be at school on-time at 8:30am daily with a fully charged Chromebook, calculator, headphones, and ready to do their best on the tests.
- Remote Students are not able to take the tests remotely. Remote students must have their parent complete this form in order to reserve a seat for in-person testing. Parents are responsible for their students transportation to/from school or students may self-transport. Students need to be at school on-time at 8:30am daily with a fully charged Chromebook, calculator, headphones, and ready to do their best on the tests.
- There is no synchronous or asynchronous work available during the IAR testing times.
- A copy of the testing times and class schedule daily is available in the letter and a copy of the schedule is included below.

Would you like to order a 2021 Yearbook?
The Jefferson PTA is proud to offer parents the opportunity to purchase a 2021 Yearbook. All 2021 Yearbooks must be pre-ordered at:

Parents can either log in with their past information or create a new account. Add your students name and select this school year and pre-order your yearbook. The yearbook will be $26.59 with tax and shipping to your home. Yearbook distribution will not be until late summer due to delays from the pandemic.
