Flip Flop Gala Tonight at the Island at Water Valley
Hello Families,
Every fall, the Weld RE-4 Education Foundation puts on their annual fundraiser called the Flip Flop Gala. This year’s Gala is tonight at the Island at Water Valley. If you are interested in purchasing tickets for this fundraiser, they are $100 each and you can do so at http://FlipFlop19.givesmart.com.
Each school in the district will have its own Silent Auction table, and here’s the good news -- you don’t need to be present or have a ticket to bid on all the great items! The Silent auction will close around 9:00pm tonight.
When you go to that registration link listed above, just click on “Register to Participate” and then click on “I am not purchasing tickets, but would like to register to participate in the auction!”

Students are not permitted to wear hats, bandanas or any other head covering, including having the hood up on a shirt or sweatshirt.
Clothing must cover underwear, midriff, buttocks, lower back, and chest (covered when standing upright). Tank tops, spaghetti straps, or strapless tops are not allowed to be worn in school. Exposed back and low necklines are not acceptable for school.
Clothing made of see through materials or torn clothing may not expose underwear, midriff, lower back, or chest.
Short shorts and short skirts are not allowed in school during the school day. Skirts and shorts must be at least mid-thigh length (fingertip rule).

Clothing that is pre-approved for a school sport or organization will be allowed with administrative permission.
Students who choose to violate the dress code will be asked to turn their shirt inside out, put on other clothes, or remove the unacceptable item. If a student does not have a substitute item of clothing, when possible, one will be provided by Windsor Middle School; otherwise, students must call parents to bring clothing to the school or be sent home.
