Club News:
Technology Student Association (TSA) News!!
First meeting will be Wednesday Sept 28. We will elect officers and get to know each other.
Why join TSA?
Perhaps the most important benefit of TSA membership is the inspiration and enthusiasm that students gain from receiving recognition for applying their knowledge. Demonstrating skills in a forum beyond school walls motivates students, especially when there is a large, like-minded audience of peers who support them. Other benefits include:
• Enhance technological literacy and leadership skills
• Work on complex activities from start to finish
• Compete on local, state and national levels
• Develop leadership skills
• Meet and work with business and industry leaders
• Attend organized meetings
• Network with students and teachers with similar interests from all over the United States
• Receive national membership services, including the online TSA newsletter, School Scene
• Receive recognition through TSA’s honor society, scholarships and achievement programs
• Have a voice in a national organization that is helping to shape the future of technology education
What will we do?
• We will focus mainly on digital photography and the use of photo editing software.
• Secondly, learn to operate available technology, such as the vinyl cutter, heat press machine, and 3D printer.
• Any other ideas the students propose that are technology or STEM based.
• There are county and state-level competitions that we will compete in.
• Fundraise for competitions or supplies, as needed.
FCCLA: There will be no meeting this week

Top Book of the Week: Heaven is for Real
Heaven is for Real:
This book brought me to tears. I fell in love with this book the moment I opened it. This book is about a sick boy who claimed he went to heaven and came back. Some people might say that it was a near death experience, but he did not get close to dying he died and then came back. This is his story to how he saw God and spoke to him.
