Quote of the Week
Teacher of the Week:
I attended Daphne Jr High ( what is now Daphne Middle! ) Back then they were building Daphne High so we stayed at Daphne Jr. High until 9th grade and then had to drive to Fairhope High School for High School. I came to Daphne Jr. High at the end of 6th grade, I moved here from Atlanta, GA because my dad was an Engineer who sold big process control loops to all the paper mills and chemical plants n Mobile. It was very hard to leave all our cousins and uncles who still all live in Atlanta! I was a cheerleader at Daphne Jr. High and of course my 9th grade year here, I was the Captain of the cheerleaders! Already being a teacher! LOL! I also cheered at Fairhope high School. I was also in the National Jr. Honor Society in middle school and was in the NHS in High School. I also took piano for 10 years and only liked to play Christmas Music! I hated having to do competitions playing Beethoven or something like that. My parents were very strict about what I could watch on TV, but I loved the Wonder Years and Fresh Prince of Bel Air! I loved Madonna, but my parents hated me listening to her, but I had a cassette tape of her music! I grew up in Lake Forest right off of Country Club Drive up from the swim and racquet Club and loved to play tennis, I was on a tennis team for Lake Forest. My piano was an old upright piano, my dad completely redid for me and it was one of my fav possessions. In middle school I wore Izod shirts and matching belts we could change out the strips on the belts and have all kinds of different clasp to hold the belt together and the same thing with matching purse yu could change out the colors, so I would say I was really into fashion and being COOL! LOL! I was voted Most School Spirit when I was in Middle school! My teachers used to tell me in middle school that I would be a teacher one day and I guess they were right after all! I planned al the pep rallys back then and the football coaches all said I was the first cherleader to plan cool pep rallys and I was very bossy hen I told them how to make their football players run in the gym and where to sit!

Short story:
Georgie Porgie:
One afternoon, he went to the park near his house. He found a little girl and tried to kiss her. The girl cried and sobbed because she did not like Georgie.
Then, some boys came to the park and saw Georgie chasing after the girl. They shouted and laughed loudly at Georgie. Georgie stopped chasing the girl and ran away feeling embarrassed. Thereafter Georgie hesitated to play with his friends because he remembered his embarrassment that he faced in front of his friends. This incident prohibited him from chasing girls thereafter.
Moral of the story :
Being cheeky and naughty has its limits. Behave yourself so that you do not cause problems to others.
