Check out an Audiobook Player and Read Along!
What is it?
A playaway is a pre-loaded, self-playing digital audio book.
•A playaway is a great and different way for an avid reader or struggling reader to listen to a story.
•No downloads needed. Just simply plug in your earphones or mini-speakers and enjoy.
•**We have many of the books that students read in their English classes.
I received a BPL Tech Card- what is it?
Our district has a great partnership with the Bentonville Public Library, and BHS now has access to some great resources from them. Every student at BHS will receive a Tech Card (English teachers are currently getting these to our students). The Tech Cards give each student access at school and at-home to the databases, test-prep resources, and electronic books, music, and downloadables that the public library offers.
Students will visit www.bentonvillelibrary.org, and click on Student Portal under resources. These resources are organized by grade-level, there is also an alphabetized list that may have something more appropriate.
