American Airlines rotates three volunteer mentoring teams every two weeks. On Friday, September 15, the students were divided into four teams with two American Airlines mentors. They were asked to name their favorite travel destination, share connections, and ask industry related questions.
Collegiate Community Project
The W. H. Adamson Collegiate students are sponsoring a school wide can food drive for Harvey/Houston evacuees living in shelters in DFW area!
Students are currently in the process of creating posters, flyers as well as an on-line campaign for their food drive on the North Texas Food Bank's website. They have appointed a student committee who will be responsible for spreading the "word" about the food drive.
The students will use the S.M.A.R.T goal model to plan, monitor and measure their service learning project's goal. Their proposed start date is Monday 25th of September through October 20th.
