Oakland Public Library Update!
Any member of your family can have their own library card, no matter how young, and then you can request materials online and pick them up when they're ready at the branch that's most convenient for you. Any questions? Emerson School Librarian Ms. Vetter is happy to help get you connected, provide book recommendations, and more!

Get up! Show up! Never Give Up!
September is Attendance Awareness Month! Please remind your students that everyone & everyday counts! Just 2 absences a month leads to chronic absenteeism which can have long term effects on your students’ learning. Please communicate any concerns you have around attendance. Ms. Sandra, Ms. Champion or your students teacher. We are here to help. We are participating in a district wide contest focused on Attendance. Participating schools will be entered into a monthly attendance drawing to virtually meet a very special guest!
