Preparing for Winter Weather
As we begin the 2023 year, please work to prepare for inclement weather. It is possible that school may be closed during the next few months due to bad weather. In the event of a weather closure, it is possible that school may be held virtually. If you do not have a device at your home that your child can use to do online learning, please request one using the link below. The scenario of going virtual is not guaranteed but we want all families to be prepared should going virtual on a snow day occurs. if you are in need of a Mifi device to get internet access, please contact your child's teacher. There will only be one Mifi device per family.
Devices will go home in the student’s backpack.

Changes in Dismissal
Changes in dismissal must be sent in writing to the classroom teacher and Mrs. Paz (in the office). All changes must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. the day of the dismissal change. Changes received later than 12:00 p.m. will not be honored. Ms. Guard is no longer at TPES and therefore emailing or attempting to contact Ms. Guard is no longer necessary.
Visiting our School
If you plan to visit our school, please bring a valid, state issued form of identification. A driver's license or I.D. card are acceptable. You will then use our Visitor Management System (VMS) to obtain a visitor's sticker. Unfortunately, pre-registered visitors and volunteers can no longer type their information in to obtain a sticker.
Car Rider Pick Up
Due to unsafe conditions at dismissal due to inappropriate student behaviors, car riders will now be kept inside for car rider pick up. Please use the car rider sign you were given to make pick up faster for all families. If you need a new sign, please let us know at pick up and we will accommodate you. All students must be picked up no later than 4:00 p.m. Any student not picked up by 4:00 p.m. will be waiting in the office for late pickup. If your child is registered for aftercare with KA he, she or they will be sent to KA and you will be billed accordingly.
