Counselor Connection
Classroom guidance lessons for 4th and 5th grade are going great. Students are learning new skills and practicing what they learn in class. They have learned about empathy and what it means to
“walk in someone else’s shoes”. They are also learning the difference between communicating assertively, aggressively, and passively. Look for weekly homework assignments called “Home Links” that you can do with your child to reinforce what we are learning in class. These should be coming home each week with your child. October is Anti-Bullying month. Check out our Elementary Guidance Website for more information on how to stop bullying. Have a great week!
