Birthday Celebrations at School
Please remember birthday celebrations at school are to be minimized to a store bought (nut free), edible treat and perhaps bottled water. Please do not plan to bring goodie bags, extra treats or balloons. Unfortunately, these things cannot be accommodated during the school day.

Donate your gently used (or new) winter gear!
Small Things Matter will be collecting new and gently worn warm jackets, vests, hats and gloves for KIDS and ADULTS at TPES and PBES starting this Tuesday (10/25). The box for donations at TPES will be located in the atrium. Donated items will be distributed at TPES and PBES after school on November 15th from 4:00 to 5:00 pm and at STM's teen pantry distribution event at the Co-op in December (Date TBD). You may also bring in donations to the TPSS Co-op, Main Street Pearl and Tabletop (these locations will be accepting donations until the end of November, while TPES and PBES will accept donations until November 14th).
Gardening Volunteer Opportunity on October 22, 2022
TPES Gardening Day is coming up soon this Saturday from 9:30am-noon! In addition to volunteering on TPES property, I am excited to inform you that I have been granted permission to lead an invasive vine/plant control groupon the city properties adjacent to TPES! If you wish to volunteer on those properties, you will be required to be vaccinated for Covid in accordance with CDC guidelines and also sign a waiver. This will be a massive undertaking and we will need lots of helpers. If you can't make it, please share this info with someone you think might be interested!
I'm attaching the waiver, a list of plants we will be permitted to remove on adjacent public property (including permitted removal methods), and a Covid protocol. These documents are attached below. Now we can do more on the surrounding property on Oct 22nd this Saturday!
Hope you can make it and hope to see you there soon!
