PRAIRIE POST
November 4, 2016
Principal's Message
I want to thank all of the families that had time to join us in a celebration of learning over the past two weeks during our Scholar-Led Conferences. All of the educators enjoyed the opportunity to sit and discuss your scholar's current progress and potential for the future. We also shared our school goals and a data sheet to show our progression as a school last year. If you missed conferences, do not fret; there is still time to contact your scholar's educator. In order to ensure the success of all of our scholars, we need your support. Your unwavering support enhances our ability to educate our future leaders, that will make a difference in our world.
The end of the first trimester is November 30th. This means that grades will be made available to parents through Infinite Campus by December 12th. Here is a link to navigate how to locate report cards in Infinite Campus linked here. Here is the link to the report card information letter that explains the continuum based report cards. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me.
Finally, this Tuesday November 8th, is Election Day. Prairie Elementary is one of the six polling places in the School District of Waukesha. We have worked with District Office to create a comprehensive plan to ensure the safety of all of our scholars. We will have a day that is full of learning and minimize the distractions to the best of our abilities. A couple of key points that I would like to remind everyone of are:
1) We will not have parent volunteers or have parents come to eat with their scholars that day.
2) All scholars will enter the building upon coming to school.
3) Scholars will still enter and dismiss from the regular doors.
Here is a link to the letter that outlines the comprehensive plan.
Thank you again for all of your support. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your PAWSOMENESS!

Attendance letters are automatically generated from Infinite Campus when your child reaches a certain number of absences.
