Chisholm Ridge Elementary School
Home of the Wranglers!
At The Ridge, every student will have the opportunity to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
1. Children are at the heart of every decision we make.
2. Learning is a shared responsibility supported by school, home and our community.
3. A safe and positive learning environment helps children reach their dreams.

Saginaw Garden Club visits The Ridge!
The Saginaw Garden Club visited one of our classes at CRES last month and provided pumpkins and decorations to each student. Volunteers spent one-on-one time with each student so that the final masterpieces were as unique and special as our students!
CRES Honor Choir performs "Forever Free".
The CRES Honor Choir opened and closed Red Ribbon Week by performing the song, "Forever Free". This song reinforces Wranglers' commitment to staying drug free and bully free. The performance included singing and dancing-- and all students and parents at Friday's Wrangler Round-Up had the privilege of being part of the audience.
Wranglers participate in Mock Election!
Every student in grades Kindergarten through Fifth Grade participated in the CRES Mock Election. Students learned about the election process by completing a voter registration card, selecting a Presidential candidate, and casting their ballot. Fifth Graders served as election officials and entered votes into the online district database.

Book Drive for Needy Classrooms!
Teachers are in need of books for classroom book bins. Let's make some room for all the new books you buy at the Book Fair by donating your gently used Scholastic Books. You can bring your used books to the book fair and place them in the appropriate treasure chest. For every five used Scholastic book donated, you will receive a chance to spin the Captain's Wheel for a prize!
