This C.L.I.M.B. would not be possible without your continued belief in our school. The educators of Prairie are dedicated to ensuring that every scholar grows academically, emotionally, and socially on their path to obtaining their education. I am extremely proud of the academic gains that we saw with our scholars this year. We can not wait to share the final results with you in the fall. Honestly, I do not look at this as the end of the year; rather I look at this as the springboard to a new adventure that is right around the corner. Please help us ensure that all of our scholars are reading each and every day. Our desire is to instill a love of learning that is not limited to the walls of Prairie. It has been an honor to serve as the Principal of Prairie for the past two years, and I look forward to continued success in the future. We are grateful that we are able to be part of a community that is greater than any one individual. The Legacy that our scholars are creating will help to change the world and stand the test of time. Thank you for entrusting your children to us each and every day. This C.L.I.M.B. is not possible without you. Also a special thank you to our PTA for their support all year of all our scholars and staff.
Enjoy the summer and we will be waiting with open arms on September 1st.

PTA News
I would like to take this opportunity, the last e-post I will write as PTA President, to thank you, members of the Prairie community for a great year! Thanks to the students, staff, and families for all your support this year! Many hands make for lighter work and so I would especially like to thank my fellow board members for their late nights and tireless work on all the activities, fundraising, and administrative work to keep the PTA running so smoothly. We had a great team. Please join me in thanking the following people when you have a chance as their efforts and sacrifices of time with their own families support all our kids:
Current Board Members: Kristi Davis, Andy Roberts, Patti Cooper, Clare Treichel & Shannon Eckmann
Past Board Members who were off the Board but "not off the hook": Carrie Dinwiddie & Erica Kasseckert
Program Chairs for "handling it": Cathi Kienast, Cheri Bonell, Betsy Peters, Erika McMahon, Lisa Franz, Stephanie Jackson, Kim Hubbard, Carrie Schuett, Ben Sinnard, Stephanie Hubbard and anyone else you have seen helping out that I have forgotten!
Future Board Members for stepping up to lead: Erica Kasseckert, Craig Kasseckert & Amanda Rogers
I would also like to thank Mrs. Anderson & Mrs. Verhagen for letting me in soooooo many times & to the staff who always make me feel welcome in the building, allow me to help in their classrooms, and take me on fieldtrips!
Thanks to the parents and guardians who let me lead and shared your children with me.
And, especially thanks to the students who engaged, had fun, smiled, and learned with me and made all the time worth it! Kids Rule!
Thank you Prairie Community for allowing me to serve! Have a great summer and know that just because I will be off the board, I will be as Carrie puts it, "not off the hook".

Tera Nehring
