Celebrate Education Week
Please join us during the week of October 10th. Parents are welcome to visit the school and sit in on their child’s classes to see the many exciting things going on at Lenape. We ask that parents choose one day of the week to sit in their child's classes. Please remember to sign in at the Main Office and wear a visitor badge when in the school.

School Photo Retake Day
Our school picture re-take day is Thursday, October 27th. If your son or daughter did not have their picture taken on the original day in September, they should plan to do this on the 27th. Even if you do not wish to purchase pictures, a photo should be taken for their school ID card. (They use this card for checking out books in the library, among other things.) If you would like to have your son or daughter’s picture re-taken, this will be done at no charge if they return their complete, original photo package to the photographer.
ALL CENTRAL BUCKS SCHOOL DISTRICT VOLUNTEERS
All Central Bucks School District Volunteers play a vital role in supporting the staff, students and programs of our schools in the Central Bucks School District. Pennsylvania law requires all persons having direct contact with school children obtain background checks and clearances. While the law allows until July 1, 2016 to obtain these documents, Central Bucks School District is asking volunteers to comply with submitting their clearances prior to volunteering during the 2016-17 school year, as this is the best interest of the safety and security of our students. Click here for required clearances along with links to the state's websites.

Note from the Nurse's Office - 7th Grade Dental Forms
The State of Pennsylvania mandates that all student in grade seven provide a completed report of dental examination by their dentist. The form was sent home last spring. The completed report is to be returned to the Health Room on or before October 15th.
Many 7th grade students have not returned a completed dental examination report. Please send in any dental reports by October 14, 2016. If you need a new form, the link is
Note from the School Nurse, Mrs. Merrill
Central Bucks School District is state mandated to ensure that each student in certain grade levels has a dental and physical examination. Physicals and dentals are required for all new students in all grades. Dental examinations are required for all students entering grade 7. The forms for these examinations were sent home in the spring from your child's elementary school. If you need another blank form, you may download it off of the cbsd.org website or contact me and I can send it to you.
During an audit, Central Bucks can be cited by the state for non-compliance if all dental and physical examination records are not on file. More importantly, having up to date and accurate medical information about our students will better ensure that we can respond appropriately to any medical needs students present at school. For families where this would cause an economic hardship, the school district will provide these examinations at school, free of charge. Should you require this assistance please contact your school nurse. Please understand that these examinations are important not only because they are state mandated but also because they provide valuable information about the health of your child. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
