ASVAB for MCHS Students, April 5
What is the ASVAB?
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude is the most widely used multiple-aptitude test battery in the world. As an aptitude test, the ASVAB measures your strengths, weaknesses, and potential for future success. The ASVAB also provides you with career information for various civilian and military occupations and is an indicator for success in future endeavors whether you choose to go to college, vocational school, or a military career.
For more details on the ASVAB: www.asvabprogram.com Students can sign up HERE!
There is no obligation to join the military by taking the ASVAB. In fact, many students take ASVAB to help them decipher their college major.

We Need AP Proctors - May 1-11 (Single Days)
As AP Testing will be approaching soon, we need volunteers to help administer AP exams to our students! We are looking for proctors to help us with AP Testing the week of May 1– 11, 2023.
Testing is divided into AM and PM sessions. The volunteer proctors will assist the lead proctors. Most exams will be held at Mt. Carmel in the gym. You will be notified by email as the date draws closer.
Please be aware that College Board regulations prohibit parents from proctoring and or being in the same room while their child is testing. Listed are the responsibilities of the volunteer proctors, but are not limited to:
1. Help with check in
2. Distribute testing.
3. Collect testing materials after each section
4. Supply pens, pencils, calculators (when appropriate) and extra paper (as necessary)
