Valley View Junior High
December 2018 Parent Newsletter
Principal's Message
As we get close to beginning the second semester, students should continue to increase their ownership of learning and take on more responsibility for their work. Students at the junior high level are typically old enough and developmentally ready to check Gradebook for assignments and ask for missing work when they are absent. They should be completing homework and asking for help when needed. These responsibilities will begin to prepare them for high school and beyond. Please don't hesitate to ask teachers what you can do to help your student become more independent as they progress through the junior high.
Happy Holidays!
